Reverend Dr. Joan M Rowe

Joan had the roles of spiritual leader, teacher, mother, daughter,
sister, grandmother, aunt, friend, co-worker and great listener but even those titles do not sufficiently capture the
essence of this powerful woman who impacted so many lives. As we come together
to celebrate her life and acknowledge her contributions, we must remember that her
anchor was the relationship she had with God and as a result, she cultivated the
characteristics that defined her as a role model.
Our family appreciates the outpouring of love, words of comfort and well wishes.
Additionally, we would consider it an honor if everyone were to demonstrate his or her love for Joan
through words of kindness and actions of love that have positive impacts on one or more people, just like our beloved Joan.
 
 

Even in her final moments she was still thinking about helping others.
She was nothing short of a star, a light to show us the way to live.
We will add that information once it becomes available.
